Similar to producers, a distributor’s obligations under the WEEE Regulations depend on whether they are distributing business or household products.
 
Distributors of business products have no legal obligations while distributors or household products to consumers, such as Tesco, Comet, etc., do have obligations to offer ‘take back' services to their customers, but these do not apply to commercial transactions for non-household products.
